Hi! My name is Jacquie Bushell and I am a Mortgage Agent and I love it! I am originally from Alberta specifically Sherwood Park which is just outside of Edmonton.
Three years ago with family in mind I moved to Ottawa with my daughter to build stronger ties with family. So we packed up our home and our 2 cats Sarah and Alyeh and moved east.
Ottawa is a beautiful city, we have settled nicely and are finding lots of interesting things to do. We really enjoy the canal; the green spaces with its gorgeous bike paths and the variety of people I get to meet and help everyday.
As a Residential Mortgage Specialist my goals are to assist clients with integrity and honesty. My passion is to help others succeed. I get great pleasure in helping people solve or relieve their financial pressure. When you help someone into their first home it’s all you can do to maintain your calm, you can’t help but get caught up in their excitement. I love my job!
With over 14 years experience as a Small Business Consultant and an Accredited Mortgage Professional it gives me the ability to understand my self-employed clients and their unique financial situation. It gives me tremendous pleasure helping entrepreneurs towards home ownership or mortgage planning for the future.
Volunteering is cornerstone in keeping in touch with my communities needs. I presently volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross and Christopher Leadership Program (not-for-profit). I take a hands on approach in my daughters education by attending and planning school events and sitting as Vice Chair on our school council.
I believe in quality customer service. The majority of my clients come from referrals. This is the greatest compliment you can give. I am thankful for the trust people give to me.
I am a Member of the Business Network International - Pinecrest Chapter, Women’s Business Network and Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals.
